A Certain Kind of Mistake is a captivating series of three novels by G M Hutchison, where the central characters in each story inadvertently find themselves at the forefront of significant global or national issues. Faced with challenges far beyond their capabilities, they are compelled to adopt unconventional thinking and explore innovative solutions.

In BREXIT Foresaking Anna, the author vividly portrays a dangerous situation that nearly unfolded in the UK. Through the eyes of a respected religious fundamentalist, COVID Am I Being Followed? delves into the origins and motivations behind this pandemic. Additionally, A Certain Kind of Mistake mistakenly portrays a victim in the role of a predator, alongside some of the most famous figures in the country.

G M Hutchison holds his father's "Uncle Bob," the artist Robert Gemmell Hutchison, in high regard. Unfortunately, he inherited none of his great uncle's talent and only discovered his passion for writing as a "would-be novelist" in his later years. Now a proud great-grandfather, Hutchison has a rich history, starting school in Scotland during the Second World War. He vividly recalls a smoldering bombsite near his home, where a German landmine had detonated, destroying a whole tenement building.

These novels not only showcase Hutchison's storytelling prowess but also provide a thought-provoking exploration of complex global issues. Through their characters' experiences, readers are encouraged to think outside the box and consider the broader implications of events that shape our world.
